The band Group’n’Swing has been founded in 2006, and became very soon quite well known in Hungary. The ten members, the founding fathers are all professional musicians. The traditional rhythm section ( piano, guitar, double bass and drum ) completed by four wind instruments ( two trumpets, trombone and a saxophone ), and these make a stable basic for the male and female vocalists.

In this way the ten members could manage to create a very well formed group by their creativity, ideas and imagination. In our repertoire you can find mostly the best melodies of the late “swing” period and some well known shuffles, which are also easily danceable. Some lyric ballades or incentive Latin melodies make more colourful and enjoyable our concerts.

Without any completeness here are some pieces of music from well known performers that you can recognise in our shows: Louis Prima, Ray Gelato, Nathalie Cole, Keely Smith, Brian Setzer, Ray Charles, Michael Bublé…

These performers’ colourful pieces guarantee the easy entertainment for all ages in our audience. The members of the band are regular performers on tourism events as well as on medical, entrepreneur conferences or exhibitions. All our programmes are recommended to institutes, organizations and firms.

Our many sided musical repertoire enables us to fulfil unique requirements, too. The band can write music, signals, compose music to existing text and willing to do musical background as, well. The band in its music, represents the swing era, and in our outfit also representing the early years of swing. The members not only complete the performance with instrumental and vocal knowledge but the visual experience not lacking the humorous elements, choreographies as well.
As a result of all of these, the band in the past two years became very well known group not only in Hungary but even foreign countries, such as; Italy, Spain, Germany and France.

Recently our performances in the international swing – dance championship and tutorial organized in Hungary, made it possible to get acquainted and play in European clubs and bars.

These invitations were fulfilled with great joy not only in the past but we hope in the future, too.
